For those in the know, the Malaysia Heritage Walk has been one of the hottest attraction in old KL for the past couple of years. As its name suggests. this walking tour introduce visitors to the various cultural and historical hotspots in Kuala Lumpur. The areas around Pasar Seni (Central Market) and Petaling Street (Chinatown) are some of the oldest in the city, bellying many relics of the ‘real’ KL.
The tour brings you to the various British colonial, Malay, Chinese and Indian historical sites in the area, all which are located within a stone’s throw from each other. Despite their proximity, the average tourist could easily miss any of them without the help of a guide. The KL Heritage Walk is highly recommended for anyone who is interested to get a little more acquainted with the historical roots of the city.
