Sekeping Tengirri is straight out one of the coolest places you could stay in when you are in Kuala Lumpur. It is a large home turned guesthouse/boutique hotel with just 7 rooms, guaranteeing a certain amount of exclusivity. The building is designed by Seksan, a famous local landscape architect.
The highlight of Tenggiri is its gorgeous, green design concept. Only the bare essentials are used in the construction of this building. As much as possible, re-purposed and recycled building materials were used in its construction. As rustic as it may seem at first glance, this chic guesthouse/boutique hotel comes with all the creature comforts such as air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, televisions, DVD players and even a swimming pool.

There compound is planted with lots of greenery giving the premises a resort-like ambiance, taking you worlds away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is the perfect place to stay for anyone who is looking to steer away from the stark, sterile environments of hotels and guesthouses.
Despite its seeming seclusion, Sekeping Tengirri is located in Bangsar at the fringe of the city; which is just 2 minutes from Mid Valley and about a 15-minute drive from KLCC. The room rates start from around RM200. For more information visit Sekeping Tenggiri.
