Had a wonderful lunch at Bangkok House yesterday. The food was a little on the pricey side but absolutely delicious! Pretty authentic and very, very tasty. We had chicken wrapped in pandan leaves, green curry chicken, prawns with stink beans/’petai’, papaya salad and a myriad of deserts. You can tell that they used very fresh and high quality ingredients for the dishes and they also paid close attention to the little details.
For instance, the glutinous rice use in the sticky rice and mango desert was infused with coconut milk, so much so that you could almost smell the fragrance before you put it in your mouth. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area.
